Al Fresco All Natural is rolling out Gourmet Chicken Grillers, uncooked frozen chicken burgers. The new Grillers contain half the fat of a traditional beef patty and are the first offering from Al Fresco’s new line of freezer products, according to the Massachusetts-based company.
Gourmet Chicken Grillers go directly from the freezer to the grill and do not require defrosting or marination. Each Griller is made with lean, skinless chicken meat, has no artificial ingredients, nitrates, nitrites or MSG, and is gluten free.
“Grilling outside is the perfect way to gather friends and family, but preparation can be time-consuming and many traditional options are high in calories, fat and sodium,” said Sarah Crowley, director of marketing for Al Fresco and Kayem Foods. “This new line is a stress-free, healthier option to pack flavor into your meals in minutes this summer.”
Patties are available in three flavors: Sweet Italian, Caramelized Onion and Buffalo & Blue Cheese.
The Grillers are now available in the freezer case at major grocery stores nationwide. Each package contains eight ready-to-cook patties; SRP is $9.99.
