National Geographic, one of the world’s largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations, has partnered with Live Prepared, a division of Blue Chip Group and a leader in emergency preparedness, to launch a comprehensive line of high-quality preparedness products for natural disasters and unexpected events.
The National Geographic collection of preparedness products by Live Prepared will be introduced to major retail stores this summer and will consist of six categories essential to everyday preparedness: water, food, first aid, shelter, energy and tools. The collection is designed to be portable and easy to use.
“National Geographic has covered expeditions from the farthest reaches of the planet, following explorers who are faced with extraordinary environmental challenges,” said Krista Newberry, SVP of brand licensing, North America, for National Geographic. “Those explorers have taught us the importance of being prepared for any circumstance, and we bring this philosophy to our new product line with Live Prepared.”

Live Prepared will be featuring the National Geographic collection at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, May 6-8, at booth NEW60 and at the FMI Show in Chicago, June 10-13, at booth 4179.
National Geographic’s net proceeds from the sale of these products will support exploration, conservation, research and education programs.
