Chosen Foods Broadens Distribution Network

Chosen Foods has expanded its distribution network to include UNFI, KeHE, Unified Grocers’ Market Centre, Tony’s Fine Foods and Dove Distributors, Previously, Chosen Foods’ products were only available at club stores, select grocers, specialty shops and online.

“…Together, these partnerships allow Chosen Foods to reach more than 25,000 stores nationwide,” says George Todd, company president.

Working with these major distributors will accelerate Chosen Foods’ sales and distribution plan, which includes the launch of more than 10 new superfood products. New products include a line of organic chia seed stick-packs designed to be used on-the-go; a 100% pure avocado oil cooking spray that uses air-pressure technology; and Chosen Blend, a unique, high-smoke-point combination of organic high oleic safflower oil with a blend of avocado and coconut oils, according to the company.

Select products have already begun rolling out to West Coast grocers. Avocado Oil is now stocked at Whole Foods in the San Francisco Bay Area and all Stater Bros. locations. All Whole Foods Markets in the South Pacific region are now carrying the Avocado Oil Spray. Chosen Foods products also can be found at Costco and BJ’s club stores.
