United Family Supports Breast Cancer Awareness With ‘Pink Tuesdays’

United pink

The United Family of stores continues its Pink Tuesdays promotion this year, a fundraising effort to help support breast cancer research and awareness. On Tuesdays during October, United will donate $1 for every guest wearing pink who makes a purchase of $10 or more, up to a maximum of $10,000.

In addition, guests can purchase pink reusable shopping bags for $2 each, with $1 from each sale also going toward breast cancer research.

“Each year, we work to raise funds to fight breast cancer and work toward a cure,” said Shelby Crews, senior community relations manager for The United Family. “Breast cancer affects all communities, and we are proud to do our part to raise awareness among guests in order to educate and empower women and men to take charge of their own breast health.”

Participating stores include all United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and Albertsons Market locations across North and West Texas.
