House Foods, a premium tofu purveyor since 1983, has unveiled a new look for its category-leading Tofu Shirataki noodles. The noodles now feature branding from NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” to encourage consumers to eat consciously and get in shape like the contestants on the show.
“The Biggest Loser has been integral in showing Americans how to eat better,” said Yoko DiFrancia, manager of PR and marketing at House Foods. “House Foods is thrilled to join ‘The Biggest Loser’ to encourage a diet-friendly lifestyle.”
House Foods Tofu Shirataki noodles are made from blending the flour of the Konnyaku—a member of the Asian yam family—with tofu. The noodles contain 10 calories and 3g of carbs per 4-oz. serving. House Foods’ Tofu Shirataki noodles provide a good amount of fiber (2g per serving) and are an easy replacement to virtually any high-calorie pasta dish, the Garden Grove, California-based company says.
Tofu Shirataki noodles are available at top retailers nationwide.
