C.H. Robinson has begun operations out of a new, state-of-the-art facility in Corona, California, in order to provide Robinson Fresh customers with expanded and efficient supply chain solutions.
The service center has more than 187,000 s.f. of warehouse space that includes more than 135,000 s.f. of temperature-controlled operations, eight cold rooms with varying temperature zones, 28 docks doors as well as cutting-edge air purification technology and cold chain handling processes. The facility is PTI compliant, PrimusGFS certified and certified organic.
Robinson Fresh will provide temperature controlled distribution services that support national and regional programs, repack, consolidation, cross dock, forward distribution and floral services throughout the facility. By centralizing these operations, Robinson Fresh says it will create just-in-time efficiencies for customers in order to address seasonal surges and capacity strains within the market.

With location being a key component to maximizing supply chain efficiency, the Los Angeles service center is in close proximity to multiple retail distribution centers, major U.S. shipping ports and West Coast metropolitan areas. Robinson Fresh manages seven additional facilities located in the Northeast, Midwest, South and southeastern areas of the U.S.
