R.I. Groups Working On Valentine’s ‘Do Over,’ And More…

The Rhode Island Hospitality Association is working with the Providence-Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau on a marketing program to promote a “Do Over Day” for Valentine’s Day for Saturday, April 18. Snowstorms and cold weather dampened the weekend’s usual strong sales for restaurants and hospitality companies in the region. The groups are asking members to develop special offers, discounts, getaway packages and promotions for the day…

For the sixth consecutive year, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Manitowoc Foodservice as an Energy Star Partner of the Year. The award is the highest-level EPA recognition and is given to partners who perform at a superior level for energy management and demonstrating commitment to energy saving within the organization through education and informing others about the benefit of Energy Star programs.
