Door to Door Organics, a natural and organic online grocer, plans to expand into two new markets—Des Moines, Iowa, and Columbus, Ohio, as well as additional areas of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. This is the third major market expansion announcement from Door to Door Organics, following expansions in Milwaukee and Cleveland.

Founded in 1997, Door to Door Organics currently operates in 13 markets and 60 U.S. cities. Since its establishment, Door to Door Organics has made more than two million deliveries. The company delivers fresh, organic, natural and local food directly to homes and offices throughout the West, Midwest and East Coast. During the growing season, Door to Door Organics customers can enjoy a selection of locally grown produce for their regular weekly or bi-weekly deliveries, thanks to a uniquely integrated mix of distributors and farmers offering USDA-certified organic produce, according to the company.

New customers choose a box size, type of box (either vegetable, fruit or mixed produce) and the frequency of delivery (weekly or bi-weekly) from the website. Customers receive an email with a list of items scheduled to be in the box and have the ability to customize their order by adding and removing items before it’s delivered.
