The National Restaurant Association will join the International Foodservice Distributors Association as co-host for the 53rd Annual Presidents Conference. The by-invitation-only forum will include leaders from the operator, manufacturer, distributor and allied partner communities. The Presidents Conference takes place Nov. 1-4 in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year’s theme is “Transformative Change, Navigating the Next Five Years.” Executive-level attendees will gain an in-depth understanding about the current state of the food service industry and how it will change over the next five years. New business models also will be presented to demonstrate how collaboration between food service industry channel partners must also change to capture an increased share of consumer market share…

Villa Enterprises, a multi-brand restaurant operator and franchisor, will open four restaurants in Simon Gloucester Premium Outlets Market Hall in Morristown, New Jersey on Thursday, Aug. 13. The restaurants include Villa Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s Beyond Great Salads, Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt, as well as a new prototype designed South Philly Cheesesteaks & Fries.
