Robinson Fresh’s ‘Freshspective’ Blog Goes Live

Robinson Fresh has launched Freshspective, a weekly blog dedicated to news, trends and happenings in the fresh fruits and vegetables space.

The content will address the specific needs of growers, retailers, wholesale and food service providers, according to Robinson Fresh, noting that their needs are unique. Freshspective features posts authored by Robinson Fresh employees, industry experts and leaders, as well as others who support and engage in the fresh produce and cold chain markets.

“Part of our job as a market leader in the perishable space is to continue to provide resources that educate our customers, provide thought leadership and provoke meaningful conversations,” said Jim Lemke, president of Robinson Fresh, an Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based fresh company that packs many well-known private label and consumer brands as well as a full line of conventional and organic produce through a worldwide network of regional and local growers.

Some of the trending topics include what to be aware in the upcoming Food Safety Modernization Act changes; balancing technology and process in order to better maintain the cold chain; and how to increase sales by capitalizing on local produce programs.

“Freshspective is another piece in the evolution of Robinson Fresh as the premier end-to-end fresh solutions provider and we’re dedicated to ensuring that our customers have the tools that they need to achieve success in their business,” said Lemke.

The blog’s user-friendly design encourages readers to subscribe, comment and share the conversation via their various social media channels.
