The Hershey Co. has named Michele Buck EVP and COO. She will continue to lead Hershey’s day-to-day North American operations and now will oversee Hershey’s operations in Central and South America. In her prior role as president, North America, Buck led Hershey’s U.S. and Canadian businesses. She also served as the company’s SVP and global chief marketing officer. The unbranded wholesale refined fuels business of Mutual Oil Co. was sold last week to Truman Arnold Cos., or TAC Energy, an independent national wholesale fuels distributor of refined petroleum products headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Mutual distributes unbranded refined petroleum products to high-volume retailers, resellers, commercial entities, governments and municipalities, and marinas in 17 states, with a focus on the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions…
Vapor Corp. of Florida, a U.S.-based distributor and retailer of vaping products, has purchased Ada’s Natural Market, a natural and organic grocery store in Ft. Myers, Florida. The store will continue to operate under the same name and management. “We are extremely excited to have acquired Ada’s Natural Market. After an extensive search of numerous business opportunities, we are confident that this acquisition is going to be immediately accretive and will pave the way to continue our now realized goal of beginning to diversify Vapor Corp.,” said CEO Jeffrey Holman.
