Northeastern Finalists Announced For Chefs Taste Challenge, And More…

Ten chefs from across the country have been announced as finalists in the second annual Farm to Table Chefs Taste Challenge taking place Aug. 19 in New Orleans. Participating from the Northeast region are Nicholas Calias of The Colonnade Hotel and Brasserie Jo in Boston and Chef Plum of Plumluvfoods of Newtown, Connecticut. The chefs will compete to create the best dish that utilizes farm-fresh items from a pantry of seasonal ingredients donated by state agricultural departments…
