New York’s First Organic Beer Begins Distribution In New Jersey, And More…

Smart Beer, New York’s first organic beer company, has expanded distribution to New Jersey, bringing premium organic beers brewed with herbal ingredients to the Garden State. Headquartered in New Paltz, New York, the company crafts beers with purified organic ingredients. The beer has been distributed to all boroughs of New York City, including Mets’ Citi Field and citywide Whole Foods locations…

Deep-fried Twinkies are now available beyond the state fair at more than 4,000 Walmart stores nationwide. The collaboration between Hostess Brands and Walmart brings two deep-fried Twinkie flavors, Original Golden and Chocolate, to retail. The Twinkies, covered in a funnel cake-like batter, are available only at Walmart for three months and will then be made available to other retailers…

Unilever plans to acquire Blueair, a supplier of mobile indoor air purification technologies and solutions. Sold in more than 60 countries around the world, Blueair has grown as the demand for indoor air purification has increased. Blueair claims its air purifying products remove up to 99.97 percent of all contaminants from the air, including hazardous sooty particles, allergens and viruses.
