New Restaurant Trade Exposition Formed To Serve Pa., And More…

Exposition Development Company Inc. (ExpoDevCo) and Questex have formed the Pennsylvania Foodservice Expo, a show that will serve the restaurant, foodservice, nightlife and hospitality industry in Pennsylvania. The inaugural show will be held Oct. 23-24, 2017, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The show is being developed with the support of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA). “We are very excited to bring back the foodservice and lodging trade show for the Pennsylvania hospitality industry. By partnering with ExpoDevCo we can utilize their already existing foodservice show network and expand on that to bring our statewide industry together for an all-inclusive annual event,” said PRLA President and CEO John Longstreet. According to the National Restaurant Association, there are more than 25,434 eating and drinking establishments in Pennsylvania producing more than $21 billion in sales and half a million jobs…

Kentucky Fried Chicken has produced a limited run of Extra Crispy Fried chicken-scented sunscreen. A total of 3,000 bottles of SPF 30 Extra Crispy Sunscreen were released Aug. 22. It is available only to U.S. residents and is limited to one per household.
