Del Monte Fresh Produce is introducing its Del Monte Smoothie Kit product line. The smoothies are available in a variety of sizes at select locations across North America, in four varieties:
• Antioxidant: Strawberries, Red Apples and Blueberries;
• Super Fruit: Strawberries, Kiwi, Mangoes and Blueberries;
• Energizer: Strawberries, Red Grapes, Carrots, Mangoes, Red Peppers and Spinach; and
• “C” Your Vitamins: Del Monte Gold Pineapple, Green Apples, Kiwi and Spinach.
“We are excited to introduce our pre-measured smoothie kit line to grocery stores and convenience channels,” said Dennis Christou, VP of marketing. “All you have to do is simply add your favorite beverage and/or ice and blend. It’s perfect for the on-the-go consumer.”
Del Monte says the smoothie kits are preservative free and “100 percent fresh, healthy and convenient.” Each kit comes in a 10-oz. cup that can be taken on the go.
The kits can be found in the refrigerated produce section; SRP $3.99-$4.99.
