Mars Wrigley Confectionery of Hackettstown, New Jersey, has a new gelato ice cream bar line. The bar will come in two artisanal gelato varieties: Dove Gelato Salted Caramel and Dove Gelato Triple Chocolate Bars.
The salted caramel bar variety offers a base of salted caramel gelato with a dark chocolate and butter toffee crisp cloak. The triple chocolate bar features chocolate gelato coated in dark chocolate with chocolate cookie bits.
“The new Dove Gelato line offers our consumers a new way to indulge this summer,” said Marketing Director of Mars Ice Cream Emily Strobel. “We wanted to leverage the premium ice cream trend to bring a smoother, creamier taste and refined twist to our classic frozen ice cream bars without losing the rich Dove Chocolate flavor consumers know and love.”
Dove Gelato Salted Caramel and Dove Gelato Triple Chocolate are available nationwide at convenience, drug, mass and grocery stores with a suggested retail price of $4.79 per one three-pack box.
