Keene, New Hampshire-based C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc. says it is transforming the way its supply chain drives customers’ growth through innovative technology that provides real-time data and analytics.
C&S has partnered with FourKites, a predictive supply chain visibility company, to provide customers with insight into its operations. Using FourKites’ platform, C&S Delivery Alerts sends logic-based messages to track store deliveries in real time, including when a truck has left the warehouse; when it is approximately one hour away; and when it has arrived.
C&S quickly adopted FourKites’ platform, used by more than 260 of the world’s largest shippers across all areas of their supply chain operations, including customer service, dispatch, transportation analytics, procurement and warehousing. Through the use of FourKites’ predictive, machine-learning-driven platform, powered by data from the industry’s largest network of shippers, carriers and 3PLs, C&S Delivery Alerts has resulted in a 65 percent reduction in internal productivity loss and substantially improved customers’ delivery experience.
