The Own Brands team from Albertsons welcomed Alice Chan to its leadership team on Monday, Jan. 20. Chan joined the organization as VP of Own Brands sales and marketing.
“Alice is an energetic and visionary leader who brings more than 16 years of proven results in the CPG industry with PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay Division,” said Own Brands SVP Chad Coester. “We have ambitious goals at Own Brands, and Alice’s work will be key to that growth.”
As a senior director of customer account sales, Chan was responsible for more than $1.5 billion in annual sales across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Most recently, she has been building sales strategy for key Frito-Lay national selling initiatives.
Chan will be responsible for developing and executing strategic go-to-market initiatives and plans. Growth and innovation in Own Brands is a key pillar of the overall company strategy. Own Brands achieved a record-high 25.6 percent penetration in the third quarter of FY 2019, with a goal of growing that figure to 30 percent over time.
