Phoenix, Arizona-based healthy grocer Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. announced in mid-January that it soon will finish construction of a new store in Pasadena, Maryland.
The nearly 30,000-s.f. store at 8048 Ritchie Highway will open at 7 a.m. April 15. Details about the grand opening celebration will be announced later.
“Since Sprouts first opened in the (Mid-Atlantic) market in 2018, the demand for more stores throughout the state has continued to grow,” said Dan Croce, SVP of store operations for Sprouts. “The new Pasadena store will further expand access to healthy products that local shoppers trust Sprouts to provide.”
The new location will create about 110 full- and part-time career opportunities to the area.
Sprouts’ “Healthy Living for Less” approach to grocery shopping means potential team members should share a passion for healthy eating and the fresh, natural and organic products offered throughout the store.
Sprouts will hold a hiring fair with open interviews from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 26 and 27 at the Doubletree Baltimore BWI Airport, 8900 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum Heights, Maryland.
Applicants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume and will have the opportunity to speak directly with the Sprouts hiring team about available positions.
