The Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Tournament is only weeks away, March 6-8. All the action takes place in the Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville where the winner will punch the first ticket to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
In addition to the action on the court, Ingles and the Southern Conference will be providing off the court action for the whole family.
This year’s Ingles Fan Fest will be located in the Thomas Wolf Arena and lobby, making it easier for the whole family to experience the Fan Fest without leaving the Event Center Building. Admission is free with your session or tournament ticket. Activities will include live remotes supporting all the Southern Conference teams, meet and greet interviews on the Ingles Fan Fest Stage, interactive games, Tap Snap, free face painting, mascot selfie station, play station, games, product and sponsor booths and scheduled pep rallies and activities.
Ingles also will provide fan swag such as rally cards and pom poms at the fan fest.
Nashville recording artist Joe Lasher will perform Sunday on the Thomas Wolf Stage prior to the start of the semifinals. Tickets to this show are included in session or tournament tickets.
Voting for your favorite mascot continues through the semi-finals at the Ingles Fan Fest. View the mascots in their new 2020 videos and send one mascot home with $1,000 for their athletic scholarship fund. There also will be opportunities to show support for Hoops Against Hunger, the official charity of the Ingles Southern Conference Tournament. Watch for the relays at halftime of each game on the court and visit their booth in the Ingles Fan Fest to learn how to help slam dunk hunger in the region.
The Ingles Fan Fest will be open beginning Friday, March 6, and will be open during tournament hours.
