Idahoan Foods Dedicated To Health, Safety Of Its Employees

Idahoan Foods, a provider of mashed potatoes in the U.S., is taking its role in feeding families amid the Covid-19 pandemic more seriously than ever before. As a member of what the Department of Homeland Security has noted to be a critical infrastructure industry, the company remains dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of its 780 employees while continuing production. Idahoan also has introduced new measures to show its appreciation for the dedication of its front-line operations and warehouse team members who are continuing to feed America during a time of unprecedented demand.

Idahoan has introduced additional benefits and compensation for its 600 front-line operations and warehouse team members, including expansion of time-away benefits and commitment of $600,000 in additional financial disbursements. Payments will be made retroactively back to March 1.

With orders up 250 percent in March alone, and anticipated increases in sustained demand, Idahoan is actively seeking 100 additional employees to join its team. The same added benefits and compensation will be extended to new team members.
