Food Broker JOH Welcomes New Hires In Specialty Division

Billerica, Massachusetts-based JOH has hired three new employees in its specialty division. Kevin Sarsfield will assume the role of an account executive in the specialty division, while Kate Bisanty and Ofradis Maracayo will serve as retail sales representatives.

Sarsfield joins JOH with more than 20 years of experience in the food industry. His most recent position was with NSSI / Acosta where he focused on growing and developing natural clients. He also has worked with various customers, including Shaw’s and UNFI.

“We are excited to have Kevin join JOH,” said Jim Walsh, EVP of specialty. “He brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and energy to our team. He is passionate about the industry and we look forward to having him grow our business.”

Sarsfield will be working in the Billerica office.

Bisanty joins JOH with more than 10 years of experience in the food industry, most recently with All Market Inc. During her time there, she worked on the Vita Coco and RUNA lines. She brings experience selling, growing and maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers. Bisanty has worked with Blue Coast-Great State Beverages, Miller and Power Crunch on the client side and UNFI on the customer front.

manager in the natural and specialty division where she exceled at sourcing new vendors.
