Pan-O-Gold Baking Co., a family-owned commercial bakery with state-of-the-art facilities in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin, introduced new Village Hearth Half Loaves in January.
“Our customers have been asking for a smaller loaf, and we listened. Our new half loaves are the perfect size for smaller households.” said Bob Gartland, SVP. “The slices are the same size as our other bread products, it’s just the loaf that got smaller. Singles, young couples and empty-nesters can now have just the right amount of fresh bread for toast and sandwiches, without the waste they may have had with a full-sized loaf.”
Village Hearth Half Loaves come in five varieties, Dakota Style 12 Grain, Honey Wheat, 100 percent Whole Wheat, Italian and Premium White. As with all Country Hearth and Village Hearth products, Village Hearth Half Loaves don’t use HFCS or dairy, and are baked in nut- and peanut-free facilities.
Pan-O-Gold Baking Co. produces, markets and distributes a variety of bread, buns and baked goods, as well as private label development. With state-of-the-art facilities in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin, Pan-O-Gold is one of the Midwest’s leading wholesale bakeries, selling under consumer brands Country Hearth, Village Hearth, and Artisan Hearth.
