Mike’s Market has opened its new location at 557 N, Bear Lake Blvd. in Garden City, Utah, showcasing a new store which includes an Ace Hardware. Grand opening celebrations took place on June 10, when the local fire department helped raise a 18×12-foot American flag in the Mike’s Market parking lot for the first time and a ribbon cutting was held.
“We’re honored to open our new Mike’s Market location with a celebration that honors our great country,” said Michael Moldenhauer, owner of Mike’s Market. “We know that our freedoms are not to be taken for granted, and flying the American flag at our Mike’s Market location is a nice reminder of the many privileges we have in our country.”
In addition to the flag, the new Garden City location adds many benefits to the community such as an expanded produce section with fresh salsa, fresh-cut fruit and veggies, a bakery offering the treats hot-from-the-oven, a butcher block with a large selection of quality Certified Angus Beef and fresh seafood, a full-service delicatessen with meals that are ready-to-eat including sliced meats and cheeses and an in-store Beans and Brews coffee shop with a new mezzanine with a fireplace and views of Bear Lake.
The new Mike’s Market has added a liquor store, an Ace Hardware that has been expanded from the prior location with a green house, lumber yard and bulk propane station. For customers’ banking needs, a Zions Bank branch has been added, as well as a new Chevron gas station.
“We are thrilled to offer these new exciting options to the Garden City community,” said Moldenhauer. “We have dreamed about this for years, and it’s exciting that it’s finally coming to fruition. We have always had the goal of giving the best experience to our guests, and this new store will allow us to deliver above and beyond.”
The company is based in Rexburg, Idaho.
