Thom Lipari, CEO of Lipari Foods said that Joe Bennett has been named VP of warehousing. In this new role, Bennett will oversee the strategic and day-to-day operations of the inbound, outbound and inventory control functions.
Bennett comes to Lipari Foods with an extensive supply chain and logistics background that began during his time with the U.S. Navy. He has also held various director and VP roles during his career that required a high-level of warehousing acumen and knowledge. Bennett’s understanding and experience in the logistics space will bring a wealth of knowledge and best practices to warehousing operations within the organization.
Bennett holds a bachelor’s from St. John’s University in accounting and economics and a master’s in logistics engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School. Originally from New York City, he has lived all over the U.S. and now resides in Shelby Township, Michigan with his wife. Together they have two children and two grandchildren.
