Krasdale Foods and hip-hop artist Fat Joe are teaming up to give away 3,000 grocery bags filled with over $36,000 worth of Thanksgiving food.
The giveaways will be taking place Nov. 24 at UP NYC (Fat Joe’s sneaker store) retail locations across NYC.
Supplied by CTown Supermarkets (a banner store of Krasdale’s), the bags will include food products to make the perfect Thanksgiving dinner such as chicken bouillon, and other canned goods including beans, rice, cranberries, stuffing, tomato sauce, vegetables and milk.
Fat Joe will be joined by executives from Krasdale Foods, as well as Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., Angie Martinez and Mayor Elect Eric Adams who will be assisting in distributing the groceries as well as 1,000 prepared meals exclusively in the late morning.
