WGA EXFL

Women Grocers of America has recently launched an exclusive network to provide ongoing support and enhance the career paths of female leaders within the independent grocery industry.

Executive Female Leaders Network is a professional peer group, specifically directors and higher, supported by National Grocers Association, with the intention of creating a community of women and support their continued, relevant development.

EXFL provides opportunities for women in retail, wholesale, supplier, manufacturer and vendor communities to meet in person, problem-solve, openly swap ideas and share experiences. This network will provide development opportunities, both personal and professional, industry insights, a space for creating connections for ongoing support and success of female leaders.

The inaugural meeting of EXFL will take place Oct. 23-24 in Washington, D.C. The event will feature Brené Brown’s “Dare To Lead” program led by a certified instructor, as well as other personal and professional development sessions and networking.

In 2023 and going forward, EXFL will meet two times per year in person, with opportunities for virtual touch points, breakout sessions and networking opportunities throughout the year.
