Pactiv Evergreen To Showcase Products At Pack Expo

Lake Forest, Illinois-based Pactiv Evergreen will feature its packaging solutions to the beverage and food industry at the Pack Expo Show, Oct. 23-26 in Chicago. The company’s gable top packaging machinery and custom food packaging capabilities will be on display in booth No. S-3182.

The company’s servo driven EH-84 gable top packaging machine will be in operation at the show. Designed to meet the needs of the dairy, juice, plant-based and liquid food markets, the EH-84 handles fill volumes of 40 ounces up to 2 liters, at speeds up to 8,400 cartons per hour. Allen-Bradley PLC controls and servo driven technology provide repeatable package performance and control fill volumes and profiles based on product and carton size.

Maintenance time is reduced with the EH-84’s high visibility of components and machine operation, as well as easy accessibility. The infeed’s ergonomic design provides operator comfort and ease of loading. An optional SPOUT-PAK System is available to enhance consumer convenience and preserve product freshness. Shelf life optimization features include extended long life components including a self-contained CIP/SIP system, environmental control features, carton decontamination and a hermetic fill system to maintain product quality.

Pactiv Evergreen will also showcase its packaging solutions for brand owners, consumer packaged goods and packer processor companies. The company meets needs with an offering of customizable packaging in a variety of materials, including paper, plastic, molded fiber and aluminum. Decorating services include custom printing and labeling with in-house graphic design, helping companies feature their brands for maximum shelf impact.

With a team of approximately 16,500 employees, the company produces a range of on-trend and feature-rich products that protect, package and display food and beverages for today’s consumers. Its products, many of which are made with recycled, recyclable or renewable materials, are sold to a mix of customers, including restaurants, foodservice distributors, retailers, food and beverage producers, packers and processors.
