Janesville, Wisconsin-based Woodman’s Markets and omnichannel retail media platform Brandcrush have announced a partnership for its shopper media. Woodman’s joins other retailers by moving its bookings, management and reporting processes online to create new efficiencies.

Powered by Brandcrush, Woodman’s has streamlined its retail media business, including in-store, out-of-store and online assets, from inefficient and fragmented systems into a centralized, white label, self-serve supplier media portal to drive efficiency and scale media sales.

“Partnering with Brandcrush is a perfect fit, as their proven technology consolidates all of our media opportunities for our suppliers across our business to drive sales,” said Dustin Wales, marketing director at Woodman’s Markets.

“This is an area we have wanted to scale for some time. Brandcrush provides us with the tools to consolidate, manage and scale our media and build a professional portal for our suppliers to utilize. We have the confidence that Brandcrush will help us grow our media program without having to immediately grow our team.

“Technologies like this help to level the retail media playing field. Our suppliers, including regional and local brands, can access a self-serve media portal for real-time and easy access to opportunities. It benefits both SME brands and our major multinational suppliers.”

Woodman’s Markets manages a number of shopper media programs in-house and works with third-party providers, such as Shop-to-Cook. With the Brandcrush technology, Woodman’s Markets can continue to work with all these providers while streamlining and consolidating the ecosystem into one white-label portal.

“We are powering retailers to own their entire media ecosystem. This includes all the touchpoints where retailers reach shoppers on their path to purchase, including in-store, where grocery sales account for more than 80 percent of the total spend, out-of-store and online,” said Teresa Aprile, co-founder and CEO, Brandcrush.

“Our software solves for this complexity of multimedia channels, multiple execution partners, internal teams and the critical paths necessary to book media and execute it. We look at the end-to-end solution for retailers, simplifying their processes, so that brands can have a consolidated view of their supplier investment across the retailer ecosystem.”

Growing from a produce stand on the street to an independent supermarket chain with 19 locations throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, Woodman’s Markets provides customers with fresh produce, large liquor selection, gas stations and quality grocery products from manufacturers at an affordable price.
