The NGA Show has announced the addition of a specialty food distributor Lipari Foods to its lineup.
Lipari Foods, based in Warren, Michigan, will be making its NGA Show debut with a 30-by-50-foot showcase, featuring exclusive and national brands.
“Our team has attended The NGA Show in the past as visitors with the goal to one day have our own space on the exhibit floor,” said Marissa Smoyer, director of events at Lipari Foods.
“With the continued growth and expansion of our distribution footprint, we knew now was the time to truly be part of the action with our space and highlight what Lipari Foods is all about, and what we can offer to retailers.”
The Lipari Foods showcase will feature the following products and programs:
- Several exclusive products from its portfolio of more than 50 brands that includes Sabrina’s Bakery Products, JLM Tubs/Confections and Preserved Harvest Jar Goods;
- An assortment of exclusive international brands including Sahtein, Shahia and Arehon; and
- Specialty beverages under the Sober Curious label, one of the fastest-growing trends in the beverage category.
In addition, retailers are invited to attend a new session, “Tapping the Adult Beverage Category: Product Innovations and Marketing Strategies,” within the event’s procurement track at noon on Feb. 28 in the education theater on the show floor.
The adult beverage category seems to be in a state of constant evolution thanks to the popularity of craft beers, a renewed interest in bourbon and other liquors and a new generation of sober-curious drinkers. Nick Lenzi, Lipari’s VP of marketing, will review trends in beer, wine and liquor and share creative merchandising and marketing tactics.
