Chicago-based Testa Produce has announced a partnership with Pepper, an e-commerce solution designed for independent food distributors.
The collaboration hopes to revolutionize Testa Produce’s digital ordering capabilities and bolster operational efficiency.
Understanding the necessity of adopting new technology in an evolving market, Testa Produce is taking steps to enhance its customers’ online ordering experience. By collaborating with Pepper, Testa Produce hopes to redefine the dynamics of food distribution in the region.

Testa Produce can now use Pepper’s online ordering catalog and payment platform, which the company believes will increase sales, heighten customer retention, improve productivity and expedite its order-to-cash cycle.

For more than 110 years, Testa Produce and the Testa family have been serving customers in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana, distributing fresh fruits and vegetables, including an array of fresh-cut offerings, dairy, meats, seafoods and specialty foods.
Earlier this year, Testa was acquired by the FreshEdge family of companies, broadening its reach and reinforcing its industry standing.
