The IGA Holiday Ugly Sweater Sweepstakes from the Independent Grocers Alliance is a chance for shoppers to earn extra holiday spending cash and discover new recipes.
More than 100 $25 IGA gift cards are available, with every participant receiving the IGA Holiday Recipe Book that features sponsored recipes from American Egg Board, Coca-Cola, Dan-O’s Seasoning, Idahoan, IGA, Kimberly-Clark and Nutella.
“The IGA Holiday Ugly Sweater Shopper Sweepstakes exemplifies the holiday spirit of partnership, giving and fun,” said Michael La Kier, IGA VP of brand development.
“We hope our shoppers have as much fun playing the sweater slot machine as we had creating it. And hope these recipes become a family tradition in our shoppers’ homes throughout the country. A big thank you to our program sponsors, including Coca-Cola, The American Egg Board and Kimberly-Clark.”

IGA will promote the sweepstakes through Dec. 26 via the National Digital Ad, which reaches about 22.5 million household impressions per month, “Family Meals Made Easy!” Recipe Club emails and on social media.
The organization was founded in 1926, bringing together independent grocers across the U.S. to ensure that the trusted, family-owned local grocery store remained strong in the face of growing chain competition.
IGA is the world’s largest voluntary supermarket network with aggregate worldwide retail sales topping $40 billion per year.
The alliance includes more than 6,200 stores globally, with operations in 46 U.S. states and nearly 25 countries, commonwealths and territories.
