Bertolli Expands d’Italia Pasta Sauce Line Into Olive Oil

Bertolli Olive Oil

Bertolli is expanding the brand’s d’Italia product line with d’Italia Extra Virgin Olive Oil, an Italian-sourced extra virgin olive oil.

Bertolli d’Italia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is born out of America’s love of Italian ingredients and flavors, demonstrated by the success of the brand’s d’Italia pasta sauce line launched in 2021, which features a variety of white and red sauces and is inspired by Tuscan culinary traditions and techniques.

The brand works to expand across categories and innovate in olive oil through sustainability, sourcing and cooking applications, creating more opportunities for U.S. consumers to experience the health and lifestyle benefits packed into Bertolli olive oil.

“We launched Bertolli d’Italia Sauces a few years ago to great success – it’s been exciting to delight consumers with our delicious, made-in-Italy sauces that reflect more than 150 years of authentic Italian culinary expertise and the simplicity of Tuscan-style cooking,” said Megan Frank, SVP of marketing for Mizkan America.

Given the enthusiastic reception of the sauces, it makes perfect sense to expand into olive oil.”

As the world’s leading olive oil brand and a brand with Italian roots, the product line expansion is a natural one for Bertolli.

“Americans know and love the Bertolli brand and sauces, and we are excited to continue to expand across categories giving consumers more ways to harness the goodness of Mediterranean living through the experiences of food,” said CEO Thierry Moyroud of Dallas, Texas-based Deoleo North America, parent company of Bertolli.

“We are proud to continue to evolve our Bertolli olive oil offerings, and as we expand, strive to offer high-quality olive oils in every category.”
