Dropps has partnered with TerraCycle, the international up­cycling pioneer, to give consumers a 100 percent zero waste liquid laundry detergent choice.

Until now Dropps pouches have been easy on the wrist, but not suitable for traditional recycling, despite being a fraction of the environmental footprint of giant plastic jugs. TerraCycle, which specializes in difficult-to-recycle packaging, is launching a new category in its popular Brigade® programs—the Dropps Laundry Detergent Pouch Brigade®—to make Dropps a 100 percent zero waste product, while earning greenbacks for charities and schools. Eggo FiberPlus™ Waffles is the newest addition to the Eggo® lineup that combines Eggo taste with positive nutrition. Eggo FiberPlus Waffles boast 35 percent of the daily recommended fiber in every serving. They are available in two flavors—buttermilk and chocolate chip. The buttermilk variety offers 35 percent of the recommended daily value of calcium, while the chocolate chip variety provides 20 percent of the recommended daily value of the antioxidants vitamin E and zinc. Atkins Nutritionals

Atkins Nutritionals has introduced six new Day Break products. The line includes the first ready-to-drink, low-carb breakfast shake featuring resealable twist-off cap tech­nology; soft baked breakfast squares; and a new morning snack bar.

The breakfast shakes are available in flavors requested by consumers, and the packaging is ideal for on-the-go occasions. Each of the Day Break Shakes have 10g protein, 3g net carbs or less and 0g of sugar. SRP is $6.99 for four shakes. Varieties include Wild Berry (strawberries, raspberries and ­blueberries), Creamy Chocolate and Strawberry Banana.

The breakfast squares (SRP of $6.99 for five) are available in two varieties—Blueberry Almond Baked Square (blueberries and almonds baked into a soft, chewy square and topped with vanilla drizzle) and Oatmeal Cinnamon Baked Square.

Hungry Jack

Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes are made from 100 percent Idaho® potatoes. They come fully cooked and seasoned and require no refrigeration. And they are ready to eat in just 15 minutes.

Nestlé Performance Nutrition and its PowerBar® brand introduced a new co-branded women’s energy bar with the Iron Girl® event-based brand. The all-new Iron Girl Energy Bar has nutrition for the athlete in every woman. Each Iron Girl Bar contains calcium, iron and B vitamins, offering an excellent source of energy in each bite.

Iron Girl Energy Bars are sold at Target® and are available in two flavors—Strawberry & Cranberry and Cocoa Crunch—and have soft and chewy whole grains mixed with real fruit and cocoa.

Campbell Soup Co., maker of V8® juices, has added two new varieties of its V8 V-Fusion vegetable and fruit juice: Concord Grape Raspberry and Concord Grape Raspberry Light. The flavors blend grape juice with the juice of apples, raspberries, sweet potatoes, carrots and other fruits and vegetable juices. Each 8-oz. glass provides one full serving of vegetable and one full serving of fruit.

The company also is expanding the number of V8 V-Fusion juice varieties available in single-serving, 8-oz. slim cans to include Strawberry Banana Light and V8 V-Fusion® + Tea Raspberry Green Tea.

PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay North America division and Tapatio hot sauce have come together for a new partnership in which Frito-Lay will sell and distribute Tapatio hot sauce-flavored Doritos tortilla chips, Fritos corn chips and Ruffles potato chips. Aimed at consumers looking to add a zesty kick to their snacking, the new Tapatio-flavored products are rolling out in grocery and convenience stores in the western and central regions of the U.S. in April.

All three Tapatio-flavored Frito-Lay products include red chili peppers, spices and a hint of garlic—the same ingredients used to create the original Tapatio hot sauce recipe. That distinct Tapatio taste is added to top-selling Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored tortilla chips to make Doritos Tapatio; in Ruffles Tapatio Limon, a hint of lime juice is combined with the fiery hot sauce for a one-of-a-kind, tangy twist.

Batter Blaster has added three new flavors of pancake/waffle batter in a can: Organic Whole Wheat with Brown Sugar & Cinnamon; Double Chocolate; and Buttermilk. Each 18-oz. can of Batter Blaster makes approximately 28 four-inch pancakes or eight waffles. The new flavors join the company’s Organic Original flavor that was launched in 2007.
