Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Now Certified A Women-Owned Company

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Co. as a women’s business enterprise as of Aug. 22. The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled and operated by women in the U.S., as well as the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations.

CEO Marygrace Sexton founded Natalie’s 25 years ago in Vero Beach, Fla. The company has since moved to Fort Pierce, Fla., and remains family owned and operated. It has officially become women-owned with the transfer of company shares to Natalie and Lucy Sexton, daughters of Marygrace Sexton.

Natalie Sexton is the namesake of the company and became director of marketing after graduating with a degree in economics from Rollins College. Her sister, Lucy Sexton, is currently pursuing a dual degree in environmental studies and art and has plans to take on a more active role at the company post-graduation.

Natalie’s produces 100% Florida Orange and Grapefruit Juice, as well as Honey Tangerine, Orange Pineapple, Orange Mango, Strawberry Lemonade, Natural Lemonade, Pure Lemon and Lime Juice, Margarita Mix and Sweet & Sour Bar Mix. All juices are clean-label products and squeezed fresh daily, with no preservatives or hidden ingredients.

Natalie’s Orange Juice has won eight national awards for taste and nutrition from publications such as Real Simple, Cooks Illustrated (twice), Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day and Bon Appétit magazines.
