The Tour Center at the Anheuser-Busch Houston Brewery will open its doors to the public Friday, April 10, giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into brewing some of America’s favorite beers.

“Anheuser-Busch has been part of the Houston brewing community for nearly 50 years. And, with the Bayou City’s burgeoning beer scene, it’s the perfect time to invite visitors to the brewery to learn more about the care and passion we put into every beer we brew,” said Damola Oshin, senior general manager at Anheuser-Busch Houston brewery. “With three unique beer experiences to offer, we look forward to sharing all things beer with the people of Houston.”

Tour Center visitors can participate in a variety of tours and beer-appreciation experiences, including:

• The Day Fresh Tour: This tour offers guests an in-depth look at how some of Anheuser-Busch’s beers are crafted by following the steps of the entire brewing process in 60 minutes. The tour is $10 for those age 21 and older, $4 for age 4-20 and is free for children under 4. Guests 21 and older can enjoy two samples on this tour, one at the Finishing Cellar and another in the Tasting Room.

• Beermaster Tour: Guests interested in learning even more about the art of brewing can join the Beermaster Tour, which provides a VIP behind-the-scenes look at the brewing of Budweiser. On the two-hour tour, guests will get the opportunity to experience the brewing process step-by-step and, for those 21 and older, sample beer directly from the Finishing Tank. Upon completion of the tour, guests 21 and older can sample a flight of Anheuser-Busch beers in the Tasting Room. Reservations are required. The Beermaster Tour is $25 for visitors age 21 and older and $10 for visitors age 13-20. The tour is not open to children under 13. To commemorate the experience, a variety of special gifts will be provided to each guest.

• Beer School: The 30-minute educational experience introduces participants to a variety of beer styles, ingredients, proper pouring techniques and food-pairing suggestions. This program is limited to guests 21 years of age or older. The cost is $10 per person, which includes the experience and gifts for the beer connoisseur. All beer samples are provided free of charge.

The Anheuser-Busch Houston Tour Center is located at 775 Gellhorn Drive. Tours will be held daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Adults 21 and older who visit the Tour Center can enjoy complimentary samples in signature glassware at no cost. In addition to the tours and tastings, the Tour Center also will be available to host special events for private groups.
