Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker will be the second keynote speaker at the New England Food Show (NEFS), as he addresses the crowd Monday, March 14, beginning at 12:45 p.m.

Baker will discuss the restaurateurs, chefs, farmers and people who bring fresh, healthy and hearty food to tables—and their impact on both our culture and economy.

Kicking off the event will be rock musician and coffee entrepreneur Joey Kramer. Drummer of Aerosmith, Kramer launched his own 100 percent USDA Organic Certified coffee line, Rockin’ & Roastin’ in 2012. Today, Rockin’ & Roastin’ is available in more than 2,500 grocery, wholesale and convenience store locations and more than 250 restaurants, lodging establishments and educational facilities; Rockin’ & Roastin’ also is the official fresh-brewed coffee of House of Blues’ locations nationwide. Kramer will talk about his passion for coffee and his entrepreneurial spirit that led to the development of the Rockin’ & Roastin’ brand following the release of his autobiography “Hit Hard: A Story of Hitting Rock Bottom at the Top” in 2010.

The 2016 NEFS will be held over three days, March 13-15, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The event convenes the entire New England restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry and showcases products from across the industry.
