North Carolina-based Harris Teeter is rolling out its newest regional program, “Delmarva-lous.” The program, which will take place companywide, with emphasis in the DelMarVa region of Delaware; Maryland; Washington, D.C.; and Virginia, will feature 16 local brands through in-store promotions from May 11 through June 7.
Delmarva-lous is Harris Teeter’s celebration of regional flavor, with a mix of food brands that either have been founded in the region or depend on regional talent and resources to deliver their products to Harris Teeter shoppers.
“We are extremely honored to see how the DelMarVa-region shoppers have embraced Harris Teeter, so we developed Delmarva-lous to promote the region’s most prominent local brands,” said Danna Robinson, communication manager for Harris Teeter. “It is a tremendous opportunity for our stores and consumers alike to highlight brands they may not realize are made locally.”
Some of the brands included in the promotion are:
- Goetze’s Candy Co. Caramel Creams
- C.F. Sauer: Sauer’s Spices and Duke’s Mayonnaise
- Dogfish Head Brew
- Domino Sugar
