Harris Teeter is planning a grand opening celebration of its new store and fuel center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with a ribbon-cutting on May 1.
The 57,000-s.f. Harris Teeter store is located in the Haygood Shopping Center on Independence Boulevard.
This location also will feature a Harris Teeter Fuel Center, which will offer customers three cents off per gallon every day with the use of a VIC card. The fuel center will open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, following the ribbon-cutting.
During grand opening weekend, shoppers can take advantage of a special 20 cents off per gallon discount May 3-5. Shoppers can redeem Harris Teeter fuel points for cents off the gallon at the fuel pump of any Harris Teeter Fuel Center or BP station.
The store will have five checkout lanes and six express checkout terminals. Among its amenities: fresh store-made sausage, burgers, beef and chicken kabobs, fresh made lobster rolls, Fish Friday events, fisherman’s market, full-service floral department, salad bar, trail mix bar, full-service fresh foods market deli/bakery, sushi, hot foods bar, wing bar, store-made pizza, event station, bulk nuts and snacks, double coupons, Club 60 Discount, ExpressLane Online Shopping, Red Box DVD rental kiosk and ATM.
The store’s operating hours are 6 a.m. to midnight. The in-store pharmacy will be open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
The fuel center will be open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. or 24 hours for customers who pay at the pump.
