Albertsons Market To Launch Integrated Online Grocery Solutions

Albertsons Market LLC logo

MyWebGrocer, a leading provider of digital solutions for grocery retailers, is now powering online services for Albertsons Market stores across the southern United States. Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Albertsons LLC has launched an integrated online solution for all of its stores that will personalize the shopping experience for customers, with access to planning tools, digital circulars, online advertising, social media, coupons and mobile apps.

All of the digital solutions have cross platform functionality. Albertsons Market customers can access digital circulars for weekly specials specific to their local store. These circulars are available on multiple platforms, whether the shopper is surfing the web, using a mobile app or viewing the store’s Facebook page. Planning tools have been integrated throughout these platforms, which include online recipe builders, coupons and shopping lists.

Curt Alpeter, EVP at MyWebGrocer, is excited to begin a partnership with Albertsons Market.

“Albertsons Market customers will now be able to take advantage of an integrated digital platform to complement their every day grocery experience,” he said. “Whether they look at weekly specials on Facebook or search for recipes on their mobile phone while in the store, we know that today’s shopper wants the ease and convenience that comes with digital grocery.”

Karl Meinhardt, VP of social and digital marketing, added, “With so many solutions available to consumers today, Albertsons Market’s top digital priority was to create an integrated experience for our customers and to bridge the gap between the digital world and their local store. It made sense for us to work with MyWebGrocer as they have the broadest digital platform in the industry.”

Albertsons Market is now part of a network of 130 other grocery retailers nationwide that use MyWebGrocer services.
