Yuengling’s Ice Cream Launches Exclusive Flavors For Foodservice, And More…

Yuengling’s Ice Cream of Orefield, Pennsylvania, has launched new 3-gallon tub flavors exclusive to foodservice distributors, including ice cream shops, restaurants, colleges and universities, concession stands and more. The limited-edition flavors will be available in batch quantities and while supplies last. Depending on their popularity, select new flavors may be permanently added to the year-round roster of 18 year-round tub flavors and two seasonal ice creams offered in foodservice sizes. The first new batches of specialty flavors available in limited production include Raspberry Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Fudge Cheesecake, Chocolate Cheesecake and Caramel Cheesecake…

Bloomin’ Brands has appointed Mike Kappitt as president of Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Kappitt most recently served as the SVP and CMO of Bloomin’ Brands. Kappitt joined Bloomin’ Brands in 2011 as CMO of Outback Steakhouse. Under his tenure, the brand introduced the wood-fire grill, lighter menu items and doubled the number of remodeled restaurants.
