Paleo snack brand Bubba’s Fine Foods is launching Classic Sea Salt ‘Nana Chips. They are expected to be on store shelves by Oct. 15.
“The data was all there at our fingertips: people love sea salt,” said Jeff Schmidgal, CEO and co-founder of Loveland, Colorado-based Bubba’s. “Our preference for big, bold flavors prevented us from even contemplating a ‘sea salt’ flavor, but the sales numbers have shown something far different. All of our retailers are going to want to add this one to their lineup.”
Bubba’s new flavor is created with four real food ingredients. Nutrient-rich green Saba bananas are kettle-cooked in coconut oil and then finished with apple cider vinegar and sea salt.
All of Bubba’s ’Nana Chips are made from low-sugar, green Saba bananas for a starchy crunch without the sweet banana flavor. They contain vitamins, minerals and prebiotics for gut health. The chips are Paleo approved, grain free, gluten free, soy free and dairy free. They also contain no refined sugars or artificial flavorings and are Project Verified Non-GMO.
Other flavors include Not-Cho Nacho, Blazing Buffalo and Grand Garlic Parm. They are available for purchase at bubbasfoods.com, Amazon, Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, King Soopers and select retailers nationwide.
